AI for Vietnam (AIV) is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Vietnamese professionals from the world’s leading technology corporations and prestigious academic institutions. Role Overview
We are looking for creative and detail-oriented Video Editors to produce high-quality videos that tell our story, showcase our impact, and engage our community. Your main goal is to transformwill transform raw footage into compelling narratives that inspire action and support AI for Vietnam’s outreach, marketing, and community-building initiatives, working closely with our content, design, and marketing teams.
On a day-to-day basis, you will edit video assets, add motion/graphics, and package final deliverables for publication across social, website, and event channels.
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Lead, you will collaborate closely with our content, design, and marketing teams in a fully remote environment to ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Post-Production: Edit, assemble, and deliver polished video content, managing the process from raw footage to final export. This includes cutting, sequencing, color grading, audio mixing, and adding visual elements.
- Visual Storytelling: Transform complex technical topics (like LLMs, AI ethics, and B2B use cases) into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand narratives.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure all video content is consistent with our organization’s brand identity, visual tone, and messaging guidelines..
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to align visuals with campaign goals.
- Asset Management: Organize, archive, and maintain our growing library of digital video and audio assets.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong storytelling skills and a creative eye for details.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with post-production techniques such as color correction/grading, audio mixing, and encoding for various platforms.
- Advanced skills in motion graphics and animation using Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
- Basic experience with video recording, lighting, and audio capture.
