Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Data Scientist to join our Product team. You will play a key role in shaping the future of the ViGen platform by delivering data-driven insights and building impactful visualizations. This role sits at the intersection of product and data science, with a unique focus on Vietnamese datasets for LLM training, benchmarking, and fine-tuning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support data visualization needs across the product team.
- Build dashboards and visualizations, and clearly communicate insights derived from LLM pretraining and evaluation datasets.
- Develop frameworks to monitor product metrics (e.g., contributor engagement, dataset growth, annotation quality, leaderboard participation).
- Partner with Product Managers to track and optimize core product metrics such as growth, retention, and engagement.
- Analyze user behavior to identify friction points and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure data collection pipelines are reliable and consistent.
Ideal Candidate
Must have
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Product Analyst, or a similar role.
- A product-oriented mindset with curiosity about user behavior and product design.
- Strong SQL, Python, and data analytics skills; proven ability to analyze large datasets efficiently.
- Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools for quick prototyping (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics, or custom dashboards).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience working with textual datasets or NLP evaluation benchmarks.
- Familiarity with crowdsourced data contribution platforms.
- Prior experience in open-source communities or AI/ML research environments.
- Experience with experimentation (A/B testing and funnel optimization).
- Knowledge of data quality evaluation and monitoring.
