AI for Vietnam (AIV) is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Vietnamese professionals from the world’s leading technology corporations and prestigious academic institutions. Role Overview
We are seeking a Partnership Lead focused on corporate and strategic partnerships to build high-impact collaborations with leading technology companies, enterprises, and innovation-driven organizations.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in business development or account management, who can connect organizational needs with the value we create through data, talent, and AI ecosystem-building.
On a daily basis, you will source partners, negotiate partnership scopes, align incentives, and manage relationships from exploration to activation.
This role reports to the Head of Partnerships and works closely with the Engineering/Product and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize partnership opportunities with enterprises aligned to AI for Vietnam’s mission.
- Develop pitch materials and partnership proposals that articulate shared value and impact.
- Lead partnership conversations from outreach to agreement execution, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate partnership onboarding: scope alignment, deliverables, communications cadence, and success metrics.
- Maintain strong long-term relationships and explore renewal or expansion opportunities.
- Provide regular pipeline reports to leadership with status, risks, and priorities.
- Represent AI for Vietnam at selected events and partner activations.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or strategic alliances.
- Proven track record negotiating agreements or securing corporate partnerships.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English & Vietnamese.
- Ability to articulate mutual value and navigate multi-stakeholder alignment.
- Self-directed, resourceful, and persistent in outreach and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in tech ecosystems, innovation hubs, or corporate CSR.
