Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our team of skilled software engineers, product managers, and test engineers in Vietnam. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring that our platform scales to meet user demand while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement algorithms to handle massive volumes of real-time data.
- Work closely with the product team to iterate quickly on new features and experiments.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and group brainstorming sessions.
- Deliver high-quality code following best practices for better performance, user experience, and reusability.
- Troubleshoot existing codebases, hunt down nasty bugs, and refactor code.
Ideal Candidate
Must have
- 4++ years of experience in backend programming.
- Previous product company experience.
- Be able to write clean, performance-centric, reusable, and understandable code with unit tests.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful web services.
- Good command of English (TOEIC 800+ or equivalent).
Nice to have
- Strong grasp of JavaScript, Node.js, including OOP and design patterns.
- Familiarity with ECMAScript 6, TypeScript, and frontend tools like Webpack, npm, vite,…
- Experience in building JavaScript SDKs, Web Widgets, and unit testing.
- Expertise in web optimization, security, and user behavior tracking using tools like Mixpanel and Google Analytics.
