AI for Vietnam is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Vietnamese AI professionals from top global tech companies. Our mission is to accelerate AI innovation for Vietnam’s sustainable development.

Role Overview
We are looking for two volunteer Project/Program Management Officers (PMOs) to support our growing portfolio of initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Head of Operations and PMO Lead to ensure smooth project execution, effective coordination, and operational excellence.
This role is ideal for students, young professionals, or career switchers interested in gaining hands-on experience in project management within a high-impact nonprofit tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and scheduling project activities, milestones, and timelines
- Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items
- Facilitate communication across internal teams and departments
- Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement efforts
Ideal Candidate
- Interest in project or program management (experience in event or project management or holding a related certificate is a plus)
- Passion for AI, technology, or digital products
- Strong communication skills in both English and Vietnamese (written and verbal)
- Flexible and resilient in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Open-minded and eager to learn new things
- Comfortable joining meetings in US time zones, including some weekends
- Bonus: skills in graphic design, video creation, or visual communication (not required)
